Optimizing the Database

1. Make sure that no students are running the program and that no one else is using the Administration system. If they are, the database could be become corrupted.
2. Run the program, and enter the Administration section.
3. Once you are on the main Administration screen with the student listings, click the 'Advanced Options' button.
4. Now click the 'Database Tools' button.
5. Click on the button labeled 'Optimize Database'.
6. You will receive a warning to to ensure that no students are logged into the system at that time. Click on OK to continue.
7. You should see a progress bar as the optimizing begins.
8. Once it returns to screen you were on, the optimization is complete.
9. The program should operate correctly now.
